Telefunken Alchemy Microphone Series: TF29, TF39, TF47 & TF51 Audio Comparison
Introducing the Alchemy Microphone Series, TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik’s next generation of large diaphragm tube condensers. These microphone models feature unique sonic profiles developed from the ground up at Telefunken’s American facility with vintage circuitry, modern fidelity, and superior reliability in mind.
In this video we will be comparing the distinct voices of the Alchemy Microphone Series; the “Copperhead” sound of the TF29 and TF39, the “German” voiced TF47, and the “Austrian” voiced TF51.

Every source was recorded in mono with each microphone in cardioid configuration. All three microphones were recorded through our API 1608 console direct in to a Digidesign 192 at 24Bit/48K and captured via Pro Tools HD.
NOTE: For the purposes of this comparison, only the TF39 Copperhead Deluxe was used to represent the “Copperhead” sound. The TF29 and TF39 in cardioid exhibit the exact same characteristics.

Presentiamo la nuova serie di microfoni Alchemy: l’ultima generazione di microfoni valvolari a condensatori a diaframma largo. Questi modelli di microfono hanno caratteristiche sonore uniche e sono stati sviluppati da zero da Telefunken incorporando design vintage, fedeltà moderna e affidabilità superiore.
In questo video confronteremo le voci distinte di tutti i modelli della serie Alchemy: il suono in stile “Copperhead” di TF29 e TF39, il sound “tedesco” di TF47 e quello “austriaco” di TF51.

Ogni sorgente è stata registrata in mono con ciascun microfono in configurazione cardioide. Tutti e tre i microfoni sono stati registrati tramite console API 1608 direttamente su uscheda Digidesign 192 a 24 bit / 48 KB e acquisiti tramite Pro Tools HD.
NOTA: ai fini di questo confronto, è stato impiegato solo TF39 Copperhead Deluxe per rappresentare il suono “Copperhead”. TF29 e TF39 in configurazione cardioide presentano esattamente le stesse caratteristiche.
