The Funky Junk Warranty

Funky Junk Italy Srl guarantees the Customer against defects of the purchased goods, both for new and used goods according to the following criteria.

New Goods

1 year – The warranty period for new goods is one year from date of purchase.
The material will only be repaired under warranty if the following conditions are met:

  • (Falls within the warranty time related to the product)
  • Documentation proving the sale is provided
  • Goods purchased (in Italy have been done so) through authorised dealers
  • Goods have not been tampered with/modified

In the event that the parent company guarantees a longer period of time, the customer will be responsible for the labour and shipping costs of the material, but not for the cost of spare parts. In addition, when possible and at its own discretion, Funky Junk Italy Srl can support the customer through its own service facility, speeding up the repair process.

Used Goods

  • General outboard equipment and microphones are guaranteed for three months from the date of purchase.
  • Consoles, recorders and control surfaces are not guaranteed, but Funky Junk Italy Srl inspects and maintains used goods prior to delivery. It is therefore up to the customer to check the actual condition of the product at the time of purchase and to request repairs if problems are found.
  • Funky Junk Italy Srl’s warranty on used equipment excludes normal wear and tear of switches, potentiometers, and does not include light bulbs, displays, microphone capsules, faders and loudspeakers, which the customer must verify at the time of purchase or upon receipt of the goods.
  • In no case are aesthetic aspects covered by warranty.

Right of withdrawal-restocking

  • The right of withdrawal-restocking is applicable only and exclusively for purchases made by natural persons (consumers) and therefore for purchases of goods not used professionally and for sales initiated and terminated at a distance.
  • Excluded from the right of withdrawal are sealed audiovisual products or computer software that have been opened by the consumer.
  • Purchased items may be returned within 10 days of purchase by sending a registered letter with return receipt.
  • The material must be returned intact and complete with its original packaging and user manuals.
  • Shipping costs for the return of the equipment shall be borne by the consumer. Only Express Courier shipments are accepted; shipments through the Italian Postal Service are not accepted.
  • The consumer shall be entitled to a refund of the purchased goods but not of the transport costs originally charged at the time of shipment.

Form

Things to know

The warranty is always understood to be carriage paid at our premises, and any A/R shipping costs will therefore always be charged to the Customer. In the event of an intervention at the Customer’s premises, it will be the Customer’s responsibility to transfer and stay with our personnel according to our service rates.
