The unit is characterized by a unique sound character and is the result of years of research, every detail has been designed and reviewed in order to improve the sound quality and offer a unique usability. The sophisticated MANULTEC ORCA BAY circuit is capable of reproducing ultra-detailed bass with a very high dynamic range and crisp, distinct high frequencies. The minimal design offers a “timeless” aesthetic appearance and makes this equalizer, in its exquisite retro beauty, a modern classic.

– Op amps strictly with discrete components manage the gain that feeds the
output transformers
– To manage high sound levels without overload and distortion, the gain control in steps of
1/2 dB is placed before the output amplifier
– Strictly wired by hand with VOVOX cables
– Handmade in the MANULTEC workshop in Germany

– LAMP: “DUBBY lamp” indicates the low frequency content
– LOW: low boost (shelf), step potentiometer, + 14 db – 80 Hz / 100 Hz
– ATTEN: low cut (shelf), – 14 db – 150 Hz / 330 Hz
– FOCUS: bandwidth control, high boost (bell)
– HIGH: high boost (bell), step 3 KHz / 12 kHz, + 11 db (FOCUS: 0) / + 21 db (FOCUS: 10)
– IN: True Bypass,
– LOWER: low frequency selector LOW 80 Hz / ATTEN 150 Hz (switch in): LOW 100 Hz / ATTEN 330 Hz (switch out)
– HIGHER: HIGH 12 kHz (switch in) / 3 kHz (switch out) high frequency selector
– GAIN: + 3 dB, – 8 dB (in half dB steps)
