Neve 88M Funky Junk

Neve 88M

Like many manufacturers, Neve also enters the desktop interface market by presenting the new Neve 88M. Designed and built in England by Neve engineers, the Neve 88M is a small and rugged USB-powered 10 in / 10 out sound card with 2 mic inputs and the legendary Marinair transformers found in the largest 88RS consoles. Thanks to the mastering grade AD / DA converters, it guarantees a defined and musical sound.

The I / O also includes ADAT In / Out connections in order to expand the setup at a later time. The classic Neve red Knob manages the level of the Monitors from which it is possible to listen to the direct signal of the preamplifiers, the return of the DAW or a mix of the two sources.

The new Neve 88M is the perfect choice for home studios looking for a premium product, with state-of-the-art technologies and legendary Neve sound.

Dangerous XT Stack Funky Junk

Dangerous Music 2-Bus-XT

Among the various innovations of NAMM 2022, Dangerous Music announces the long-awaited successor of the 2-BUS LT, the new 2-BUS XT. The 2-BUS-XT uses the same technology as the 2-BUS +, but provides some new features.

Following an intense series of listening tests, the transformers of X-FORMER III were specifically chosen to add 2nd order harmonics to generate depth and color in the mid frequencies, while preserving the clarity of the high frequencies.

The 2-BUS-XT has been designed to increase the possibilities of your Dangerous system, both sonically and ergonomically. It is possible to connect more units of the 2-BUS-XT to obtain a greater number of channels or to combine them with the 2-BUS + to obtain three circuits of different color or to couple them to the D-BOX + to add a complete control of the monitors.

The Coherence parameter raises the harmonic content of the signals progressively, increasing the details as the levels decrease, then allowing this result to be mixed with the original mix, in a parallel compression style.

From concept, to careful design, to field testing, the new 2-BUS-XT is perfect for adding character and depth to your mixes.

Echo Fix EF-X3R Funky Junkl

EF-X3R Chorus Echo

For almost 15 years Echo Fix has kept the most classic vintage echo tapes alive. Thanks to their experience, their tape drives are reliable and backed by a team with one of the best customer service in the industry.

The EF-X3R is the latest addition to Echo Fix’s tape delay line. Built in Australia, the EF-X3R includes many of the most requested features and builds on the knowledge gained after 3 years of manufacturing the EF-X2.

The EF-X3R integrates analog BBD chorus and an analog spring reverb, the EF-X3R boasts a 100% analog signal path.

Individual outputs for each cartridge offer flexibility never seen before in a tape echo, with the ability to achieve a classic stereo Ping-Pong delay effect by panning each cartridge in the mix.

Level Or MKII Dual Funky Junk

Standard Audio Level-Or Mk2 Dual

The Standard Audio Level-Or Mk2 Dual is a two-channel JFET limiter with a harmonic distortion processor. The project is based on the Level-Or Mk2 of the 500 series with some additional features and functions.

The Level-Or Mk2 Dual includes all the features and enhancements of the Mk2 500 series module (noise reduction, bypass switch, instrument DI) plus a mix control, stereo link, and a unique Cascade mode. The unit features an oversized internal power supply and a sturdy, corrosion-resistant steel frame, as well as an aluminum front panel.

The heart of each Level-Or Mk2 Dual channel is a JFET transistor limiter, originally inspired by the Shure Level-Loc PA limiter. In Level mode, this section acts as a very high ratio limiter. In Crunch mode, this section uses (and abuses) a series of discrete Class A transistor stages to generate different types of distortion, from subtle harmonic support to complete destruction of the audio signal.
